Miles Stanislaw is widely recognized as one of the premier construction trial and claims attorneys in the United States with his practice now devoted almost exclusively to the representation of general contractors. He has specialized in high stakes, "we gotta win this," bet your business kinds of cases.
Miles has won more than 25 multi-million dollar verdicts, arbitration awards and settlements representing a broad spectrum of construction clients doing business throughout the United States. In addition, Miles has successfully defended contractors in some of the biggest construction defect cases in the country. He has served as lead trial counsel on cases in Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Kentucky, Florida, and New York, and been specially admitted to practice in several additional states. His project experience includes highways, bridges, jails, dams, luxury hotels and residences, hospitals, high-rise buildings, reservoirs, schools, pipelines, factories, airports and processing plants.

- Defended a Prime Contractor sued by the Owner/Developer with regard to a $225 million defective work claim on a luxury resort.
- Defended a Prime Contractor sued by the Owner with regard to a $180 million defective materials claim on a pipeline project.
- Defended a Prime Contractor sued by the Owner with regard to a $60 million breach of development and construction contract on a convention center/hotel project.
- Represented a General Contractor on a semiconductor plant regarding defective design and owner interference. The client recovered $37 million.
- Represented a General Contractor on a telecommunications infrastructure regarding a termination dispute. The client recovered $20 million.
- Represented a General Contractor on a pipeline project regarding differing site condition. The client recovered $14.75 million.
- Represented a General Contractor on an airport renovation and expansion project. The client recovered $28.5 million.
