Michael Hutchins focuses his practice on representing and advising contractors, sureties and manufacturers on a broad variety of contractual, dispute resolution and litigation issues on both public and private works. His experience includes major infrastructure claims and litigation involving changed conditions and non-payment, wrongful termination, products liability and other contractual disputes. Michael has counseled clients on pipeline, light rail, power plant, tunneling, sewage treatment, commercial, municipal and residential building construction, telecommunications, and other projects. He has practiced extensively in federal and state courts, boards of contract review, mediation, arbitration and party-to-party negotiations.
Michael brings to his legal practice more than eight years of pre-legal construction and engineering experience in the heavy and highway construction and manufacturing fields. He is a registered professional engineer in California and Washington State.
