Briana Stolley's practice focuses on commercial real estate and commercial finance transactions. She represents owners, developers, tenants and users of office buildings, shopping centers, industrial parks and warehouses in connection with the leasing, development, and the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. Briana also has extensive experience representing institutional lenders, banks and credit unions in connection with a wide array of financing transactions, including construction and permanent loans secured by real estate, equipment, and other asset backed transactions. Her practice includes negotiating and drafting contracts with architectural, engineering and construction firms, franchise agreements, hotel management agreements, and corporate entity formation documents on behalf of her clients. Additionally, Briana is active in the equestrian community in Loudoun County, Virginia and has represented several large equine trainers, facility owners and operators in connection with all aspects of the development of their businesses.
Representative Clients and Transactions
- Representation of the world's largest credit union (holding more than $40 billion in assets) in connection with the selection, acquisition and management of retail branch and office facilities across the United States and internationally.
- Representation of an executive suites operator in a national expansion effort, including the acquisition of thirteen additional executive office suite centers (doubling the previous size of the client) and new leases totaling more than 100,000 square feet of office space.
- Representation of one of the largest holders of office space in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area including the acquisition, disposition and loan representation involved in connection with office building assets, as well handling the leasing portfolio.
- Representation of government contractor tenants in connection with the leasing of headquarters and office facilities, as well as the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets.
- Representation of institutional lenders in connection with multiple construction and permanent financing projects, including CMBS and mezzanine loans.
- Past representation of large commercial lender specializing in franchise financing, closing loans totaling over $200 million per year of representation.
