Chambers USA Names WTHF to the Shortlist for the 2009 Awards for Excellence

In advance of the June USA Awards for Excellence ceremony, Chambers and Partners has named WTHF to its Construction (team) shortlist and named 12 WTHF attorneys as "Leaders in their Field."

The Chambers USA Awards of Excellence honor outstanding lawyers and law firms across the United States, reflecting preeminence in key practice areas and significant achievements over the last 12 months. Chambers and Partners ranks both firms and individuals according to technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, and commitment to the profession among other qualities most valued by clients.

WTHF is not only recognized as a leader in the legal industry, but the number of US-based attorneys devoted solely to construction matters exceeds that of our closest competitors as well. In the firms 30-year history, 2008 marked the most successful year yet with the stand-out success being the A.F. Construction/Fireman's Fund win among others submitted to Chambers and Partners for consideration. Chambers-identified Leaders in their Field include: John B. Tieder, Jr., Robert G. Watt, Robert M. Fitzgerald, Robert K. Cox, Lewis J. Baker, Carter B. Reid, Mark A. Sgarlata, Michael G. Long, Paul A. Varela, Vivian Katsantonis, Gregory J. Dukellis, and Todd R. Metz.

The 2009 Chambers USA Awards for Excellence will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York and coincides with the publication and launch of the Chambers USA 2009 Client's Guide.
